DAY CARE PROGRAM - Ages 2-5
years
We offer a comprehensive full-day program that supports the
various stages of physical, cognitive, social and emotional
development of your child. Guided by trained and registered
Early Childhood Educators, the children will be exposed to
situations and activities, either individually or in groups,
which stimulate:
- Curiosity, self-expression and initiative
- Independence
- Interaction with and respect for others and the environment
- Communication skills
- Decision making capabilities
- Self-esteem
- The development and refinement of gross and fine motor skills.
KINDERCARE PROGRAM - JK/SK
Children
This program offers extended day programming in accordance
with the Full Day Kindergarten Seamless Day philosophy. The
children will stay in the kindergarten classroom if they
require care and supervision before and/or after school. A
qualified and registered Early Childhood Educator will
facilitate activities that support the Kawartha Pine Ridge
District School Board’s Kindergarten Curriculum. The hours
of operation and the fees are the same as for the Before &
After School program.
BEFORE & AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM
- Ages 6-12 yearsM
This program offers a safe, stimulating environment for
children requiring care and supervision before and/or after
the school day. The hours of operation are 6:30-8:15 a.m.
and 2:35-6:00 p.m. Many creative, stimulating activities
will be offered daily, as well as a quiet area for relaxing
with friends or working on homework, and outdoor gross motor
time. A nutritious snack will also be provided.
CAMP BLAZE - SUMMER CAMP PROGRAM
At Camp Blaze, our goal is to provide a
safe, fun, memorable summer experience during July & August.
With our fully trained staff, it is our aim to encourage and
motivate your child’s self-confidence, leadership skills and
creativity through individual and team based activities. As
a parent, you will have ‘peace of mind’ knowing your child
will be having tons of fun, and learning along the way!
Registration for this program starts May 1st for the
upcoming summer.
