We offer a
comprehensive program that supports the development of the
various stages of the social, intellectual, emotional, and
physical development of your child. Guided by trained staff,
the children are exposed to situations and activities,
either individually or in groups, which stimulate:

Curiosity, self-expression and initiative.

Interaction with and respect for others and the environment.

Communication skills, decision-making capabilities.

Building self-esteem and a positive self-image.

The development and refinement of gross and fine motor skills.
Our program provides 16 English language spaces for children
2 ½ to 5 years of age, with an educator to child ratio of 1:8.
The Brighton Preschool learning environment is a special place to explore
and create. We recognize each child's sense of self by
offering choices of activities, varying our learning centres
with old favourites, new interests, and encouraging positive
social interaction. Self-esteem is promoted at the Preschool
by providing opportunities for the children to develop their
self-control and communication skills while allowing them to
work through new challenges in a secure environment where
they can explore joyfully.
Our play centres
include choices for independent play, group activities and
parallel play. We see all play as important steps in the
development of a child. We also reinforce the need for our
children to feel a part of their community through
excursions, special visitors and daily discussions.
